The UFC’s event in Glasgow later this summer is starting to take shape.
The promotion recently announced the addition of a bantamweight contest between veteran Mitch Gagnon and prospect Brett Johns to UFC Fight Night 113, which is set to take place on July 16 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Gagnon, who's been fighting for the UFC for over five years, will be attempting to snap the worst losing streak of his career against Johns, as he’s coming off back-to-back losses to Renan Barao and Matthew Lopez. This will be Gagnon’s first fight in 2017 and only second bout in the last two years. The 32-year-old Canadian fighter is currently 12-3 in his MMA career, including a 4-3 record in the UFC.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Johns will be looking to build off his decision win over Kwan Ho Kwak in UFC debut last November. The Welsh prospect is currently undefeated in his MMA career with 13 straight victories that date back to 2012.
