Two of Bellator’s top British fighters just about came to blows Friday.
Following his fight with Rory MacDonald in the main event of Bellator 179 in London, Paul Daley and Michael Page had a physical confrontation in the arena, according to multiple reports from the scene. Daley mentioned Page on the microphone after the fight and things escalated from there.
Page was sitting in the front row and Daley came over to him after leaving the cage. Daley had to be dragged away by security.
Wow. Paul Daley just went for Michael Page in the front row and they had a scuffle. Pandemonium. #Bellator179 pic.twitter.com/hhA2usDDgN

Page talked about fighting Daley in the past, but Daley has brushed it off, calling Page the Adrien Broner to his Floyd Mayweather Jr. In other words, not on the same level. Daley also called Page the Justin Bieber of MMA, following a music video of Page calling out Daley went viral in MMA circles.
Perhaps the time is right now for a fight between the two Englishmen. Page was supposed to compete on this card against Derek Anderson, but withdrew due to injury.
Bellator 179 has yet to air on television in the United States. It’ll be viewable on tape delay at 9 p.m. ET on Spike TV.
