Robert Whiteford has added a new highlight-reel finish to his MMA career.
The Scottish fighter choked out MMA veteran Nam Phan with a standing guillotine in less than 30 seconds into their fight at Saturday’s ACB 54 in Manchester, England. Whiteford’s submission finish reminded fans of Jon Jones’ guillotine choke victory over Lyoto Machida back at UFC 140 in 2011. With this performance, Whiteford is now 2-0 since his release from the UFC last year, and improved his record to 14-4.
