Heading into UFC 202, the heavyweight division remained unsettled with the actions of former champion Jon Jones. Still, contenders were still looking for a chance to move up as Anthony Johnson and Glover Teixiera did on Saturday.
The question heading into the bout was whether Teixeira would be able to handle Johnson's vaunted punching power.
As it turns out, he would not.

All it took was one punch just seconds into the first round, an uppercut, that sent the Brazilian crashing to the mat at just 13 seconds into the first round.
"I'm working hard to get to the title. I've been busting my butt off to get to the title. And Daniel, you the man, baby, but we gonna get it on," Johnson said to UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier, who was in attendance.
"Much respect. I don't know why y'all booing," Johnson said to the crowd. "That man's the champion. Much respect to Daniel Cormier. He's a hell of an athlete. Hell of a champion. So give him his props. I'm just coming in there to try and take that belt."
Johnson's win bumps his record 22-5 while Teixeira falls to 25-5.
