UFC strawweight contender Claudia Gadelha headlined a list of three fighters who received potential six-month medical suspensions in the aftermath of The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale. The Nevada Athletic Commission announced the event's medical suspensions Monday.
Gadelha fell short in a title bid against UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk in the night's main event, losing via unanimous decision. Moving forward, she will be forced to receive doctor clearance on a potential right thumb fracture or be sidelined until Jan. 5, 2017.
Two other fighters received similar six-month medical suspensions: Fernando Bruno (left knee) and Cezar Ferreira (left foot).
