The martial arts community lost one of its own on Monday. Kimbo Slice, the legendary street brawler responsible for several of the most-watched moments in MMA history, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42.
Slice, whose real name was Kevin Ferguson, is survived by his six children and longtime girlfriend Antoinette Ray. He was a beloved member of American Top Team and was expected to fight just next month at Bellator 158. On Thursday, the community joined together to remember Slice, and the legacy of the backyard king who touched so many lives in his short time.
