The final fight on Joseph Duffy's current UFC contract will take place next year in London.
"Irish Joe" is expected to meet Reza Madadi at UFC Fight Night: London on March 18, MMA Fighting confirmed. MMA Nytt first reported the news.
Duffy (16-2) hasn't fought since his 25-second submission of Mitch Clarke in July because he couldn't come to terms with the UFC on a new deal. Recently, though, both sides agreed that Duffy would fight out his contract and then test the free-agent market, which he plans to do after the March 18 fight. The 28-year-old Duffy is 3-1 in the UFC.
Madadi (14-4), nicknamed "Mad Dog," is coming off a third-round TKO of Yan Cabral in May. The Swede is 3-2 inside the Octagon.
The UFC has yet to announce a main event for the card, which will be held at the O2 Arena in London.
