A memorable night of fights in Toronto provided lots of competition for post-fight bonuses.
But in the end, the UFC only hands out four post-fight bonuses, and the winners after UFC 206 were worthy, as Cub Swanson, Doo Ho Choi, Lando Vannata, and Max Holloway all came out $50,000 richer for their efforts.
Swanson and Ho Choi were a late entrant into the discussion of Fight of the Year after their tremendous featherweight matchup at Air Canada Centre. With that in mind, it almost goes without saying after that their took Fight of the Night honors after their thrilling matchup, which Swanson took via unanimous decision.
Vannata and Holloway, meanwhile, took Performance of the Night honors.
Vannata blasted John Makdessi in the opening round of their Fight Pass feature bout with a perfectly placed spinning back kick, which ended their fight via knockout. That move will likely place Vannata on the KO of the Year list, and earned him a post-fight bonus.
Holloway, meanwhile, won his 10th straight fight and the UFC interim featherweight belt with a third-round finish of Anthony Pettis. That made Holloway the first competitor ever to finish Pettis in the former UFC and WEC lightweight champ's 25-fight, decade-long career. It also earned Holloway a performance of the night bonus.
