A flyweight bout between Wilson Reis and Ulka Sasaki is the first addition to the UFC 208 card, multiple sources told MMA Fighting. UFC 208 is scheduled for Jan. 21 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, and airs live on pay-per-view.
Reis (21-6) went 2-0 inside the Octagon in 2016, beating Dustin Ortiz via decision in January and making quick work of Hector Sandoval in July. The Brazilian was set to meet Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight championship at UFC 201, but "Mighty Mouse" was forced out of the bout due to an injury.
Sasaki (19-3-2) enters his second bout as a flyweight after submitting Willie Gates in May. The Japanese talent, who went 1-2 as a bantamweight under the UFC banner, was scheduled to return on Nov. 19 against Matheus Nicolau in Brazil, but was removed from the card after his opponent failed a drug test. Before joining the UFC in 2014, Sasaki racked up a 17-1-2 record in Japan.
