The World Series of Fighting's bit end-of-the-year blowout card just got a little something more.
On Tuesday, the WSOF announced via its Twitter feed that undefeated featherweight Andre Harrison (14-0) has signed a multi-fight contract, and will make his debut on Dec. 31 at WSOF 34. He will face Bruce Boyington (14-9) during the preliminary card of the event, which takes places at the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
The fight will stream live on WSOF.com, with the main card airing on NBC.
"We have been aggressively pursuing some of the best available fight talent on the market," WSOF president Ray Sefo stated in the press release. "And the undefeated Andre Harrison should make an exciting addition to our featherweight division as he makes his World Series of Fighting debut at WSOFNYC."
Long Island's Harrison was the featherweight champion of Titan FC, and last defended his belt against Alexandre Bezerra in September. Seven of his last eight fights have come via decision.
WSOF 34 will feature four title fights, including a middleweight tilt between Davis Branch and Louis Taylor, as well as a bantamweight title fight between longtime champion Marlon Moraes and Josenaldo Silva. The co-main event will feature a welterweight title fight between MMA veterans Jon Fitch and Jake Shields, and a lightweight championship bout between Justin Gaethje and Joao Zeferino will act as the headliner.
