Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida have agreed to run it back at UFC on FOX 19.
Sources close to the situation confirmed to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani that the rematch is targeted for the April 16 show and that both fighters have verbally signed off on it.
Combate originally reported the news last week. The Brazilian outlet also reported that the card would take place in Tampa, Fla.
Henderson and Machida previously fought at UFC 157 in February 2013, with "The Dragon" taking home a split-decision victory.
Since that defeat, the 45-year-old Henderson is 2-5 inside the UFC Octagon, getting finished in four of the five losses (three via knockout, one via submission).
The 37-year-old Machida, meanwhile, is 3-4 since his showdown against Henderson at UFC 157. The former light heavyweight champion has lost back-to-back bouts, losing via submission to current 185-pound champ Luke Rockhold and via knockout to Yoel Romero.
While their UFC 157 matchup took place at light heavyweight (205 pounds), the rematch at UFC on Fox 19 will take place 20 pounds south, at middleweight, where both men have competed of late.
Other bouts targeted for the UFC on FOX 19 show include Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson, Bethe Correia vs. Raquel Pennington, Rashad Evans vs. Mauricio Rua, Michael Chiesa vs. Beneil Dariush and Cub Swanson vs. Hacran Dias.
The UFC has made no official announcements about the event as of Sunday.
