The card is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Mark Hunt (11-10-1) and Frank Mir (18-10).
Lombard has not competed since a UFC 182 tilt against Josh Burkman in January 2015. In that bout, Lombard defeated Burkman via unanimous decision, running his winning streak to three inside the UFC Octagon.
However, the Cuban-born fighter tested positive for the anaboilc steroid desoxymethyltestosterone after the fight, forfeiting the victory and receiving a one-year suspension as a result.
Prior to the bout with Burkman, Lombard defeated Nate Marquardt via knockout and Jake Shields via decision in consecutive bouts, putting himself in a favorable position inside the UFC's 170-pound division.
Magny, meanwhile, has been one of the most active fighters on the UFC's roster in recent years, fighting 10 times since February 2014. During that stretch, Magny posted an impressive 9-1 record, most recently defeating Erick Silva and Kelvin Gastelum in back-to-back bouts.
Mangy's sole defeat during his run came against Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist Demian Maia at UFC 190. Magny was submitted via second-round rear-naked choke in that fight.
Other fights announced for the card were James Te Huna vs. Steve Bosse, Daniel Kelly vs. Antonio Carlos Junior, and Brendan O'Reilly vs. Alan Jouban.
