Bellator's one-night tournament is a go.
All four fighters from the light heavyweight tourney scheduled for Bellator MMA: Dynamite 1 on Saturday in San Jose came back clean in out-of-competition drug testing, according to California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) executive officer Andy Foster.
The competitors -- Muhammed Lawal, Phil Davis, Emanuel Newton and Linton Vassell -- were all tracked for random drug screens last month. Those four as well as every other fighter are subject to fight-night testing on site this weekend.
Bellator: Dynamite is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Liam McGeary and MMA legend Tito Ortiz. The card will also feature GLORY kickboxing bouts, including title contests in the light heavyweight and featherweight divisions.
Bellator 141 headliners Melvin Guillard and Brandon Girtz also came back negative in fight-night testing, per Foster. That event was held at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., on Aug. 28.
