Antonio Silva's career peak might be passed, but "Bigfoot's" power remains intact.
Silva unleashed his fury on Soa Palelei in a heavyweight bout on Saturday night at UFC 190 overpowering him with vicious strikes and getting the TKO at the 41-second mark of the second round.
If the finish appeared similar to his win over Alistair Overeem, it was for a reason.

"About 10 minutes ago I was watching my fight with Overeem," Silva (19-7, 1 NC) said. "I was watching the fight and I knew I'd do the same thing."
Palelei got the better of things in the first round, as he ended on top after a scramble and landed solid blows from the top.
Silva came out in the second, though, and landed a monster uppercut. He pushed Palelei against the fence, landed a knee, and dropped him with another uppercut, leading to the finish.
Silva was relieved, thanking the crowd in Rio for supporting him after being finished in his last two fights, both in Brazil.
"I want to thank everyone for coming out tonight," Silva said. "I had a bad streak with two losses here in Brazil and now I came out with a win, I'm back."
