UFC Boston Predictions

Main Event: Conor McGregor vs. Dennis Siver

The UFC believes it has found a star in the brash Irishman. This is, from a UFC marketing standpoint, the most anticipated Fox Sports 1 Main Event. And after tallying off wins against Marcus Brimage, Max Holloway, Diego Brandao, and Dustin Porier, McGregor now finds himself just a victory away from a title shot against Jose Aldo. His opponent, Dennis Siver, is no slouch and I believe the biggest test of Conor's career. In fact, Dennis Siver will pull off the upset and leave the Boston fans disappointed. Siver's ground game is being overlooked, and this will be exactly what he will use to neutralize McGregor's striking. Siver via Submission

Co-Main Event: Donald Cerrone vs. Benson Henderson

Cowboy has never defeated Benson Henderson. Their first encounter, in the WEC, was Fight of the Year. However, I expect things to be different this time around. Cerrone is on a roll, and with Benson having one foot out the door and ready to move on to Welterweight, Cowboy will be victorious. Cerrone via Decision

Uriah Hall > Ron Stallings
Gleison Tibau > Norman Parke
Sean Spencer > Cathal Pendred
John Howard > Lorenz Larkin
Chris Wade > Zhang Lipeng
Paddy Holohan > Shane Howell
Johnny Case > Frankie Perez
Charles Rosa > Sean Soriano
Matt van Buren > Sean O'Connell
Tateki Matsuda > Joby Sanchez

Other Predictions: Charles Rosa vs. Sean Soriano will be a sleeper candidate for FOTN. Viewership will peak at 1.5 million viewers during the McGregor vs. Siver fight.
