'Mondragon' returns to MMA with 30-second KO in Brazil

2

After a two-year layoff, Geronimo "Mondragon" dos Santos returned to the cages with a quick finish. The Brazilian heavyweight, who was granted a UFC release since he couldn’t get cleared by the Nevada Athletic Commission to compete in the Octagon, scored a 30-second TKO victory over Daniel Joaquim Silveira (7-8) at Coalizao Fight 3 on Sept. 4. "Mondragon" (34-14) now rides a 12-fight win streak with 10 first-round stoppages.
