This is the UFC Fight Night 42 live blog for Rafael dos Anjos vs. Jason High, a lightweight bout at Saturday night's UFC event at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M.

dos Anjos, who has won four of his past five UFC fights, will face High, who is 2-1 in his UFC return, on the main card.

Round 1: Kevin Mulhall is the referee. Both fighters are southpaw. The fighters both exchange good lefts. High was in on a knee tap, but switches to a double against the fence and gets it. Dos Anjos stands and drives a knee to High's ribs, but again is slammed to the ground. Dos Anjos is active off of his back and threatens with a kimura, but High pulls out. The Brazilian lands a kimura sweep, but in a scramble High cracks dos Anjos with a knee. Two follow-up knees, however, from dos Anjos. Dos Anjos is doing all the pressuring, landing two hard punches before level changing and putting High on his back.  Dos Anjos attempts a kimura, but can't get it.

MMA Fighting scores this round 10-9 dos Anjos

Round 2: Attempted high kick from High, but dos Anjos cracks him with a body kick. In another exchange, however, High is poked in the eye and the bout is temporarily halted. High is in on a knee tap and it scores. Outside leg kick now for the Brazilian. Dos Anjos is keeping a tremendous pace with a wide variety of strikes. He drags High to the mat, but High gets to his knees. Dos Anjos attempts a guillotine, but High cartwheels across to stuff it. Both stand. Dos Anjos cracks High with an overhand left and that sends the American to the canvas. Dos Anjos follows up and that's all she wrote. The referee stops the fight.
