DirtyBird2's weekly prospect breakdown

Due to the request of some members I will be doing a weekly breakdown of prospects to look out for. The overall landscape of MMA is in no lack of stars and future stars and I'll highlight the ones to look out for.

I'll start off with my personal favorite. In the Heavyweight division. The Man, the Myth, the Legend Konstantin Erokin

Konstantin Erokhin 5'11 230lbs all muscle. Normally weighs in High 220's low 230's.

6-1 professional MMA record 5ko's 1 decision. 1 ko loss. to other top prospect Denis Goltsov in his(erokhin's) pro debut.

Biggest wins Brett Rogers, Sokoudjou and Evengy Erokhin.

Konstantin Is not your typical muscle bound heavyweight that will take you down and drop crazy hammer fists trying to finish and gas out right away that he appears to be at first glance.

Konstantin is in fact small for the division and if he wanted to could move down to 205 and be even more of a force. What separates Konstantin from other HW's in the insane amount of power and speed he has in such a small frame. Konstantin waits back and picks his shots and explodes when he needs to. Has an excellent gas tank and all around MMA game. Check out these highlights

vs Denis Komkin

There you saw on display his terrific finishing ability and counter punching in the next two fight videos you will see his patience and cage control and fight IQ as he waits until the perfect time to KO Sokoudjou and his terrific destruction of Rogers picking him apart piece by piece.

Vs Sokoudjou

vs rogers

Like many fight nights stars before him (Mikakov, 'puncher king", Arlovski, Gasan Umalatov) Konstantin is ready and willing to do big things. He mainly fights on the 'Fight nights: Battle of Moscow" cards when they do them, and 16 is coming up at the end of the month full card not yet released, so keep an eye out. Konstantin is Destined to do great things!
