Jim Miller put on a vintage Jim Miller performance on Saturday night.
The veteran lightweight from New Jersey hunted down Yancy Medeiros in the first round of their UFC 172 fight, rocked him, and followed up with a gulotine choke. The fight was waved off at the 3:18 mark.
Medeiros went out rather than tap out.

"Once he went out, I knew he was out and I told Mario [Yamasaki] he was out," said Miller, who earned his 14th career submission win.
With the one-sided win, Miller (24-4, 1 no-contest), who has one three straight minus a no-contest, set his sights on the rest of the division.
"There are nine guys ahead of me," said Miller, who entered the bout ranked No. 10 in the official UFC lightweight rankings. "Four of them are tied up or don't want to fight, so let me have one of the others. Khabib [Nurmagomedov], Josh Thomson, T.J. Grant, give me any of them."
