Round 1: The referee in charge of the action is Mario Yamasaki. Thompson stands southpaw with Whittaker orthodox and already Thompson is throwing multiple-stirke combination with Whittaker reaction. Thompson using all sorts of head movement and lateral movement while connecting in tight as Whittaker lands the occasional strike. Whittaker scores with a right hand, but gets dropped with a right of how own. Whittaker tries to stand and gets dropped again. Whittaker can barely sit up as Thompson pounces all over him. Yamasaki has no choice but to stop it.
