Former featherweight contender Erik Koch will look to get his career back on track at 155 pounds.
"New Breed" will meet Rafaello Oliveira at UFC 170 on Feb. 22 in Las Vegas, the promotion announced Saturday.
Koch (13-3) has lost his last two fights in a row to Ricardo Lamas and Dustin Poirier. He was scheduled to fight Jose Aldo for the 145-pound title in 2012 but injuries precluded that fight from every materializing. Now, the Roufusport fighter will look to reinvent himself as a lightweight, a weight class he fought in earlier in his career.
Oliveira (15-6) has won three of his last four fights. His lone win during that stretch was a unanimous decision over Yoislandy Izquierdo at UFC 148 in July 2012. He most recently lost to Edson Barboza via second-round TKO at UFC 162 this past July.
UFC 170, headlined by Ronda Rousey vs. Sara McMann for the UFC women's bantamweight title, will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
