Amanda Nunes vs. Germaine de Randamie set for 'Fight for the Troops 3' event

Esther Lin, MMA Fighting
An important women's bantamweight fight has been added to the UFC's Fight for the Troops 3 event later this year.

Amanda Nunes will meet Germaine de Randamie on Nov. 6 at Kentucky's Fort Campbell, the UFC announced Monday night. The fight joins Liz Carmouche vs. Alexis Davis as the second women's bout on the card.

Nunes (8-3) won her Octagon debut at UFC 163 last month when she defeated Sheila Gaff via first-round TKO.

De Randamie (4-2) was also successful in her Octagon debut, as she defeated Julie Kedzie at UFC on FOX 8 in July.

Fort Campbell is a United States Army installation on the Kentucky-Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY, and Clarksville, TN.

UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3 will be headlined by Lyoto Machida vs. Tim Kennedy and will air live on FOX Sports 1.
