UFC Fight Night 27 bonuses: Carlos Condit, Martin Kampmann take Fight of Night

Esther Lin, MMA Fighting

Carlos Condit's impressive victory over Martin Kampmann on Wednesday night didn't just get him back in the win column. It also netted him his third consecutive Fight of the Night award.

Condit rallied from a strong first round by Kampmann and slowly turned up the heat before finishing him in the fourth round of their UFC Fight Night main event in Indianapolis. For their efforts, Condit and Kampmann were both given $50,000 Fight of the Night awards.

By avenging a 2009 loss to Kampmann, Condit has now won postfight awards in six of his past seven fights: Four Fights of the Night, including in losing efforts in his past two fights against Georges St-Pierre and John Hendricks; and Knockouts of the Night against Dan Hardy and Dong-Hyun Kim.

The night's other bonuses came from the Facebook and Fox Sports 2 prelims, respectively. Zak Cummings finished Ben Alloway with a first-round D'Arce choke and took him Submission of the Night honors in his UFC debut. And Brandon Thatch's first-round knockout of Justin Edwards pocketed him a cool $50K.
