Top bantamweights are slated to meet at UFC Fight Night 29 in Barueri, Sao Paulo.

Sources close to the situation told MMAFighting.com that Raphael Assuncao and T.J. Dillashaw will face off on Oct. 9 in Brazil. The bout was originally set for UFC Fight Night 28 in Minas Gerais, Brazil, but Assuncao was sidelined with a hand injury. Combate first reported the match-up.

UFC Fight Night 29 will mark the sixth time UFC goes to Brazil on 2013, and the UFC is already expected to return on Nov. 9 as well in Goiania, Goias. The welterweight showdown between Demian Maia and Jake Shields will headline the card, and Erick Silva vs. Dong Hyun Kim will serve as the co-main event.

Assuncao, a 30-year-old MMA veteran, is undefeated since dropping to the 135-pound division, including second-round stoppage victories over Issei Tamura and Vaughan Lee.

Dillashaw, a TUF 14 runner-up, is three years younger than the Brazilian and has a four-fight win streak since losing to John Dodson. He was last seen inside the cage against Hugo Viana, whom he defeated with a first-round knockout.
