This is the UFC on FUEL TV 10 live blog for Thiago Silva vs. Rafael Cavalcante, a light heavyweight bout at Saturday night's UFC event at the Paulo Sarasate Arena in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Silva, who is 1-2 with 2 no-contests in his last five fights, will face Cavalcante, who will be making his UFC debut, on the main card.

Round 1: Dan Miragliotta is the referee. "Feijao" is more active in the early going, landing two-punch combos and also a right hand to the body which makes Silva wince. Silva connects with a left and follows with a straight right. Silva with a front kick. Both guys are looking like they're trying to land the big bomb. Cavalcante rocks Silva with a spinning elbow. Silva regains his senses and presses forward. Silva's strikes are starting to land. Cavalcante is holding his hands surprisingly low. Silva is coming on in the final minute. He crumples Silva with a huge right uppercut to the jaw, follows up with another big right hand on the ground, and that's all she wrote.

Thiago Silva def. Rafael Cavalcante via KO at 4:29 of round one.
