UFC on FUEL 9 took place April 6, 2013 at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (33-3-2) made his UFC debut against late replacement Ilir Latifi (7-2, 1 NC) in the night's main event. Catch the video highlights above.

Round 1: Marc Goddard is your main-event referee. Mousasi throws a low kick. Latifi responds in kind. Mousasi patiently stalks Latifi across the Octagon. He's keeping his hands low. Latifi with a two-punch combo. Latifi goes for a takedown attempt, which Mousasi easily stuffs. Mousasi throwing occasional jabs. Midway through the round. Latifi just misses with a big right hand. On one hand, it seems like Mousasi can turn it on whenever he feels like it, on the other, it seems like he's tempting fate keeping his hands low and chin forward. Latifi has swelling under his left eye from Mousasi's jabs. Mousasi continuing to flick jabs. Latifi tries to goad Mousasi in the closing seconds, but it doesn't work. Round 2: More of the same in the opening minute. Latifi lands a left which catches Mousasi's attention. Latifi connects on a right. Mousasi content to stalk Latifi and keep him off-balance with his jabs. Latifi attempts a takedown, but Mousasi sprawls it, then tries to take Latifi's back but can't. Mousasi continues to pick Latifi apart with his jabs. Mousasi with a kick to the backpedaling Latifi. Latifi's face is a mess from Mousasi's incessant jabs. Round 3: The 5-foot-9 Latifi simply doesn't have any answer for Mousasi's range. Mousasi continuing to treat the fight more like a workout than a UFC main event, but it's working. Latifi's face is starting to look like Glass Joe from "Punch-Out" right before he gets knocked out. Two minutes left. Latifi conects with a low kick, but Mousasi continues with his efficient assault. Final minute. Latifi's a bloody mess. Latifi catches a Mousasi kick and gets him to the mat, but can't do anything with it.
