This is the UFC on FUEL 9 live blog for Akira Corassani vs. Robbie Peralta, a featherweight bout at Saturday's UFC event at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm.
Corassini, who won his UFC debut against Andy Ogle last September, will face Peralta, who is 2-0 with 1 no-contest in his Zuffa career, on the main card.

Round 1: Kristian Hacklou is the referee for this fight. Peralta throws a leg kick and Corassani responds with a solid left hand. Corassani is doing his best to stay out of range, but Peralta rushes in and lands a solid two-punch combo. Peralta lands an uppercut, clinches, lands a knee and pushes Corassani back into the fence. Midway through the round and back to center Octagon. Peralta catches a Corassani kick and they briefly clinch. A brief scramble with about a minute left ends with Corassani clinching Peralta up against the cage. Peralta switches position and lands a knee. MMAFighting scores the round for Robbie Peralta, 10-9.
Round 2: Peralta throws a left and Corassani tags him with an overhand right in response. Peralta goes for a takedown, but Corassani defends it. Two minutes into a slow-paced round. Peralta has swelling under his left eye. Peralta lands a two-punch combo. Peralta rocks Corassani with a huge left hand. Peralta pounces on the downed Corassani, but Corassani manages to withstand the assault. He gets back to his feet and clears the cobwebs as they clinch along the fence. They switch positions and Peralta nearly scores a takedown. Peralta connects on an elbow from the clinch with a minute left. Corassani pops Peralta with a right hand. Corassani pops Peralta with a left. Peralta lands a low kick. Corassani nearly steals the round, but Peralta came closter to finishing the fight. Round 3: Both guys clearly tired but looking for their second wind as the third round opens. Corassani scores an easy takedown about a minute in. He doesn't do much with it. Peralta works his way back up to his feet, but Corassani stays with him and scores a trip. Peralta gets to his feet again, but gives up his back in the process. Peralta finally separates and lands a short elbow, followed by a pair of knees. One minute left. Peralta has opened a nasty cut on Peralta's scalp with an accidental headbutt, but Corassani turns up the intensity and a scramble ends up with a Corassani takedown.
