I did not look 4ward to this one and I was not disapointed ....
Afterward we heard Daniel make a lot of excuses 4 his approach but was it his fault alone?
Leading up to this bout we were bombarded with hype of Mirs new training camp, lookin better than ever (and physically, he did), for the first time taking it seriously, puking after each training ..
But what was the plan going into this fight?
Stand close to the fence and do NOT go to the ground??
I, for one, expected Cornier pushing Mir against the fence for 3 rounds and he did just that.
I expected him to avoid the floor and he did.
I'm NOT a fighter, so I'm sure it is much harder to make the right decisions in there, than here in my sofa, but really?
If I could predict Cormiers strategy, I'm sure Jackson and Mir could, but why didn't they have a plan to counter??
Listening to Mir talking, you get the impression he's far smarter than the average fighter but against Cormier he acted like a moron and that's really why the fight went south...
