Of the two, is it the former in the FOX event that virtually everyone seems to prefer. The card is far more stacked and has more intriguing match-ups even if there's no single fight that matches star power of the main event in New Jersey.
Stated plainly, this FOX event on Saturday should be sensational and not just because of the three featured fights at the top of the card (although it should be good because of them as well). It's also further proof that the UFC can't have it both ways. You can't both tell the audience a card can't be judged before it takes place and yet try to remind everyone an upcoming card is positively awesome even when they may have good reason to do so.
But that's neither here nor there: can Daniel Cormier make a splash in his UFC debut? Will Frank Mir get back to his winning ways? Who is the best lightweight on earth?
There's a lot going on, so join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.
