AS much as I was planning on supporting WSOF I doubt they will see much return if any on their investment by signing Jon lay n Pray Fitch. However I do hope they match Fitch up with an opponent he clearly dodged last summer in UFC. The word that was going around AKA last summer was Crazy Bob Cook had Fitch use some old nagging injuries he normally would have fought with as an excuse to get out of fighting a much much better athlete and wrestler in Aaron Simpson. Now that both fighters are reported to be with WSOF hopefully after Simpson embarresses Josh Burkman Simpson can get what many people including Simpson and Fitch's own camp as being a very good matchup for Simpson as it is well known Simpson's athleticism is on a much higher level than Fitch as well as his wrestling so if you ad in Simpson big right hand and the fact he's use to fighting guys Fitch's size as most of his fights in UFC were at MW. If this fight does take place it will be first time in quite some time where although its well known Fitch is hands down one of if not the best weight cutter in all MMA his usual size advantage at welterweight won't be an issue because Simpson although still smaller than Fitch was able to hold his own against much much bigger fighters such as Ronny Markes. I don't see Fitch having much of a chance at being able to "FITCH" simpson for 15 minutes or even get him to ground and be able to hold him down to stall out a victory as he did in last 5 minutes of the Erick Silva fight. I will go as far as to say Simpson will land his big right hand on Fitch and possibly finish him by TKO which could be the final nail in Fitch's career. Will Crazy Bob Cook let this fight happen? I doubt it.< SOURCES: http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2012/7/23/3180006/ufc-aaron-simpson-wants-fight-jon-fitch-ufc-152-mma-news http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2013/2/23/4021598/ray-sefo-confirms-fitch-signed-to-wsof-more-to-come-following-ufc-cuts /p>
