As Bellator launches their first pay-per-view effort, they finally have a full main card.
The organization announced Monday that season 9 heavyweight tournament finalists and UFC veterans Cheick Kongo vs. Vinicius Queiroz had been officially added to the pay-per-view main card of Bellator 106 or 'Rampage vs. Tito' event.
Kongo, 31, made his Bellator debut at Bellator 102 where he stopped Mark Godbeer in the second round with strikes. Queiroz, 30, competed on the same card and stopped UFC heavyweight veteran Lavar Johnson with strikes at just 23 seconds into the first round. Both of those bouts were semifinals in the current season's heavyweight tournament and will put the winner of their upcoming bout in line to face the winner between Bellator heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov and Vitaly Minakov.
'Rampage vs. Tito' takes place on November 2nd and will be held at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, Calif. The main event is a light heavyweight bout between former UFC light heavyweight champions Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson and Tito Ortiz.
