Chat Wrap: UFC 155 recap, Strikeforce discussion, UFC in 2013 preview

USA TODAY Sports

Here it is: the first live chat of 2013. That means the order of business will be recapping the final UFC event of the year as well as grading everything we saw in 2012. To help facilitate discussion, I'd ask that you grade the year in MMA in the poll at the bottom of this post.

But we can't just look back. The train continues to roll on as we have Invicta FC 4 this weekend and Strikeforce directly after. Last, but not least, UFC 156 the fist weekend in February. Past is prologue in MMA, which means all the fights you could possibly handle and then some.

So join me today to discuss all of this and more. In terms of today's chat, anything is up for discussion, but I will lead with this and it all kicks off at 1 p.m. ET.

As is customary, I'll post the video window here as the event draws near and I'll answer any questions you may have if you post them in the comments section below.

If you want to join me on Google+ and let everyone see your face, now you can. Go to today's livechat Google + page. If you're interested, join the service and leave a comment on this post on MMA Fighting's Google+ page. Once you do, I can invite you through to the chat. Just want to participate in the comments? No problem. Participate however you feel most comfortable.

Talk with you all at 1 p.m. ET.
