Jon Jones walked off into the Toronto night with his world title intact, though for a moment, it sure didn't seem like he would. A Vitor Belfort armbar early in round one nearly paved the road for one of the greatest upsets in UFC history. Were it not for a tremendous show of heart from the besieged champion, we could be having a completely conversation right now.
But alas, Jones escaped the near-submission and proceeded to dominate Belfort, finishing the 35-year-old with a fourth-round Americana to cement a fourth consecutive defense of his UFC light heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 152.
Jones's dramatics, along with the crowning of Demetrious Johnson as the first flyweight champion in UFC history, provided plenty of talking points for the ensuing flood of pro fighters that hit Twitter. The 125-pounders, in particular, received the lion's share of support. However, at least one fighter, Rampage Jackson, was left unimpressed by what he had just witnessed.

Well Jon Jones proves one more time he is a great fighter and very smart. He looked great in the fight. It had good fights tonight I like it
