The fight card for the first UFC on FOX event of 2013 is filling out quickly.

According to a news update on the UFC's website, verbal agreements are in place for a light heavyweight clash between Vladimir Matyushenko and Ryan Bader for UFC on FOX 6. That event is set to take place on January 26 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

UFC also announced David Mitchell and Simeon Thoresen have verbally agreed to fight at that event.

Bader, 29, is 14-3 in his MMA career and most recently lost to Lyoto Machida at UFC on Fox 4 in August of this year. Matyushenko, 41, holds a professional MMA record of 26-6. He, too, is coming off of a loss in his last performance. Matyushenko was stopped in the first round with strikes by Alexander Gustafsson in December 2011 at UFC 141.

UFC on FOX 6 is being headlined by a flyweight title bout between champion Demetrious Johnson and challenger John Dodson. The official line-up for this event at the time of this writing is as follows:

Demetrious Johnson vs. John Dodson
Quinton Jackson vs. Glover Teixeira
Donald Cerrone vs. Anthony Pettis
Clay Guida vs. Hatsu Hioki
Mike Russow vs. Shawn Jordan
Pascal Krauss vs. Mike Stumpf
