Mark Hunt vs. Stefan Struve is back on.
According to sources close to the fight, the heavyweights have agreed to meet at UFC on FUEL TV 8 on March 2 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
MMAWeekly.com first reported the news late Monday night.
While bout agreements have yet to be signed, the heavyweight tilt is expected to air on the FUEL TV main card.
Hunt (8-7) vs. Struve (25-5) was originally supposed to take place at UFC 146 in May, however, Hunt withdrew from the fight due to a knee injury, which he underwent surgery for. Since then, Struve has defeated Lavar Johnson and Stipe Miocic.
Hunt looked dominant in his return to Japan last February at UFC 144 when he knocked out Cheick Kongo in the first round. That was his last appearance inside the Octagon before the knee injury.
