By the third fight of the UFC on FX 6 card, the nightly bonuses were decided.

The prelim fighters swept the awards, as Nick Penner vs. Cody Donovan won Fight of the Night, while Ben Alloway took Knockout of the Night honors at the show, which took place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland, Australia.

There was no submissions during the evening, although five of the 10 bouts were finished by KO or TKO.

The winners each received $40,000.

Alloway won for his finish, which came courtesy of a front kick that basically put opponent Manny Rodriguez's lights out. There was plenty of competition, including knockouts from main event fighter Ross Pearson and middleweight powerhouse Hector Lombard.

The Fight of the Night award was no easy decision either, as Pearson and Sotiropoulos put on an exciting bout, as did the co-main event fighters Robert Whittaker and Brad Scott.

The Penner-Donovan fight went less than one round, but was filled with momentum switches. Both men were knocked down at various points of the action-packed fight. Finally, near the end of the round, Donovan clipped Penner with a left that dropped him, and he finished with ground strikes.
