A battle between two flyweight contenders has been added to UFC 155.

According to UFC.com, John Moraga and Chris Cariaso have verbally agreed to meet on the promotion's Dec. 29 card. The 125-pound fight is expected to take place on the undercard of the bill headlined by Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez 2.

Moraga (11-1) looked fantastic in his UFC debut back in August, as he knocked Ulysses Gomez in the first round. The 28-year-old's only loss came against top flyweight contender John Dodson at a local show in Dec. 2010.

Cariaso improved his record to 14-3 overall and 4-1 inside the Octagon in his flyweight debut at UFC on FUEL TV 4 in July. He defeated Josh Ferguson via unanimous decision in San Jose, Calif.

UFC 155 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
