Nam Phan replaces Eddie Yagin, will fight Dennis Siver at UFC on FOX 5

Nam Phan's wish has been granted by the UFC.

He will replace injured Eddie Yagin and fight Dennis Siver at UFC on FOX 5 in Seattle on Dec. 8, according to the UFC on Wednesday.

Phan tweeted "if1azn brother falls than another must take his spot. Who wants 2 c me fight Dennis Siver? tweet 2 @ufc & @danawhite lol :)" Tuesday night.

Yagin remains hospitalized with swelling on his brain following a recent training session.

Phan earned a split-decision win over Cole Miller in his last Octagon appearance at UFC on FOX 4 on Aug. 4, 2012.
