Jeremy Stephens arrested, his fight with Yves Edwards canceled
UFC lightweight Jeremy Stephens was arrested in Minneapolis just hours prior to his scheduled UFC on FX 5 bout with Yves Edwards. While Dana White said he would be able to get Stephens to fight, the UFC president was unable to work out a deal with Des Moines police.

Dana White adamant Jeremy Stephens will fight at UFC on FX 5
UFC President Dana White took to Twitter to directly challenge various Internet reports that the scheduled lightweight bout between Jeremy Stephens and Yves Edwards at UFC on FX 5 was off due to Stephens' incarceration. Despite the Facebook portion of the card being cancelled, thereby indicating fewer fights were to be held on the overall fight card, White suggested the media reports were erroneous and Stephens would be competing:
OMFG!!! YES Jeremy Stephens is fighting tonight! At no point did ANYONE from UFC say he wasn't. Some media jackasses said he wasn't

The latest media reports indicate Stephens is still being held at the the Hennepin County Public Safety Facility. White did not give any further information about Stephens' whereabouts or if that bout will be held after the main event given the lack of card space.
