This is the Strikeforce live blog for Dan Henderson vs. Renato "Babalu" Sobral, the main event of tonight's Strikeforce on Showtime card from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Henderson (25-8) lost to Jake Shields in April and is in search of his first win with the Strikeforce promotion. Sobral (36-8) defeated Robbie Lawler by unanimous decision in June.

In February 2000, Henderson defeated Sobral via majority decision in the finals of the RINGS King of Kings tournament.

Round 1: Henderson with a short right to break away from clinch. Sobral's head kick is blocked. Sobral with a variety of kicks and Henderson backs away from them. Henderson lands a left and Sobral scrambles for a takedown, but Henderson stays on top. Henderson lands two right hands that daze Sobral. Those were enough but Henderson delivers a few more to put Sobral to sleep.
