Dream welterweight champion Marius Zaromskis will face Waachiim Spiritwolf at Strikeforce Challengers 12 on Nov. 19 in Jackson, Miss., Strikeforce announced Thursday in place of the canceled Ryan Couture fight.

Interestingly, despite being the Dream titleholder, this will be Zaromskis' third fight for Strikeforce this year with zero for Dream. With no remaining Dream events left this year, his next opportunity to fight in Japan would be the Dynamite!! 2010 event.

Zaromskis (13-5), who made his name with Dream last year with three straight head kick knockout wins, has not found success with Strikeforce. First in January, the Lithuanian southpaw lost to Nick Diaz in a vacant Strikeforce title bout and then in June suffered another TKO loss to Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos.

Spiritwolf (8-7-1) competes in the California MMA scene and recently lost his Strikeforce debut in October to Billy Evangelista by unanimous decision. A Native American of Navajo and Yaqui descent has a couple of notable TKO wins over Crafton Wallace and Brett Cooper.

The main event of Strikeforce Challengers 11 will feature Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro taking on Justin Wilcox.
