A middleweight bout between veterans
Robbie Lawler and
Matt Lindland has been added to Strikeforce's Dec. 4 show in St. Louis, director of communications Mike Afromowitz confirmed with MMA Fighting on Tuesday.
The event, headlined by Dan Henderson vs. Renato "Babalu" Sobral, will air live on Showtime from the Scottrade Center.
Lindland (22-7) was supposed to face Luke Rockhold this weekend in San Jose, Calif., but Rockhold was forced to pull out of the bout after suffering an injury in training.
"The Law" is 1-1 since signing with Strikeforce in 2009.
Meanwhile, Lawler (17-6) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Sobral in June. The former EliteXC middleweight champion is 2-2 in his last four fights.
Also scheduled for the card is the return of Herschel Walker against a yet-to-be announced opponent and Paul Daley vs. Scott Smith.
