Jake Rosholt, once considered a can't-miss prospect in WEC and then UFC, will face veteran Matt Horwich at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, OK. The bout will serve as the main event of the Nov. 12 Xtreme Fight Night card.
This will mark only the second fight for Rosholt since getting released from the UFC late last year. He submitted Rudy Lindsey in March. The 7-2 Team Takedown member was released after going 2-2 in the UFC/WEC.
Horwich, a long-time veteran of the sport and also a former UFC fighter, is coming off a loss to Eric Schambari at Bellator 28. The former IFL middleweight champion is 25-16-1 overall.
A press release put out by the organization boasts that boxing legend "Sugar" Ray Leonard will be on hand to watch the event.
Also, according to NemesisFighting.com, a show called MMA Global Invasion will feature the likes of Keith Jardine, Paul Buentello, Jeff Curran and Dean Lister. The fight card will take place on Nov. 13 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The Web site also states that former UFC Octagon Girl Ali Sonoma will "host" the event.
Jardine has lost his last five fights in a row, including most recently against Trevor Prangley at Shark Fights 13 last month.
Nov. 13 also marks the date of UFC 122.
Here's how the main card is stacking up:
Keith Jardine vs. Francisco France
Paul Buentello vs. Kerry Schall
Eliot Marshall vs. Chris Davis
Jeff Curran vs. Travis Marx
Terry Martin vs. Marcus Hicks
John Dodson vs. John Moraga
Dean Lister vs. Kyle Seals
