Sep 7, 2010 - A low-level mixed martial arts fighter and his former girlfriend were found dead over the Labor Day weekend in what Austin, Texas, police said may have been a murder-suicide.
The bodies of Kenneth Bryan Trevino, 26, and Tiffanie Perry, 23, were found at an apartment Sunday night, according to KXAN-TV. Police told the NBC affiliate that a family member or friend called authorities to warn them that Trevino was suicidal after the breakup of the couple.
The two bodies were found with obvious signs of trauma.
Trevino, who was known merely as Kenny Trevino in the MMA community, fought mostly with XFC and had an MMA record of 5-2-0 (click here to watch one of Trevino's fights from 2008). He last fought in March where he submitted Eric Rodriguez at Shark Fight in Amarillo, Texas. Perry was a competitive bodybuilder and model.
