Dana White: WEC PPV Beat Many Expectations

MONTREAL -- Following Thursday's UFC 113 press conference, Dana White talked about WEC's first-ever pay-per-view, and while the UFC president refused to say exactly how many buys the show generated, he had a big smile on his face when discussing its success.

"It was a good show," he said. "It was a good show. We're happy with the results. We beat many of the expectations. A lot of guys in the office were real negative about it. I wasn't."

White also said that although there is no timetable for when the next WEC pay-per-view will air, one thing is for certain, it will probably look a lot like "Aldo vs. Faber," meaning no WEC branding.

"We're the pay-per-view team," he said.
