UFC lightweights Kurt Pellegrino and George Sotiropoulos have both signed bout agreements to face off against one another at UFC 116, a source tells MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani.
The match-up pits two lightweights who are both coming off impressive recent performances against one another on the undercard of an event headlined by heavyweights Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar this summer.
Pellegrino is riding a four-fight win streak following his second-round submission of Fabricio Camoes at UFC 111. Sotiropoulos has won five straight since coming to the UFC, and most recently he earned a "Fight of the Night" bonus for his unanimous decision victory over Joe Stevenson at UFC 110 in Australia.
UFC 116 takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 3.
