Cyrille Diabate is headed to the UFC.
The French 36-year-old fighter has signed a four-fight deal with the organization, MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani has learned from Diabate's agent Ken Pavia.
"The Snake," who is 15-6-1 in his MMA career, has agreed to fight Luiz Cane at UFC 114 in Las Vegas for his UFC debut.
Cane last fought at UFC 106 when he was knocked out by Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in the first round.

Nice. I've long wanted to see what The Snake has to offer inside the cage. Last I heard he was training with Team Quest Temecula. I assumed they were basically black-balled from the UFC.
Kinda of strange that they would sign a Team Quest South member since they're absolute awful in the UFC, with the exception of Dan Henderson who eventually left for Strikeforce. Age doesn't help Diabate as well. He has to make an impact immediately.
WAR the Snake! He won't be a contender, but with his good kickboxing, he'll make for exciting fights.
He will hit Cane very hard in the face and leave a mark.
