DREAM.13 Announced for March 22 in Yokohama

DREAM.13, first DREAM event for 2010, will happen on March 22 at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan, the promotion announced Wednesday.

It will be the promotion's first show since co-promoting with rival Sengoku at Dynamite!! 2009 on New Year's Eve. In seven head-to-head matchups, DREAM defeated Sengoku four to three.

Sengoku's first event of 2010 will happen the same month, on March 7, featuring Jorge Santiago and Maximo Blanco at Sengoku Raiden Championships 12 from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

The previous numbered DREAM event was on Oct. 25 when DREAM mixed things up by utilizing a hexagon cage and round structure of three, five-minute rounds popularized by the UFC's adoption of the Unified Rules of MMA.

Bouts are to be announced.
