Karo Parisyan: 'I'm Going to Fight Again'

When Karo Parisyan withdrew from UFC 106 at the last minute, UFC President Dana White said Parisyan would never fight in the UFC again. But Parisyan says he will be fighting somewhere soon.

"I promise you I'm going to fight again," Parisyan told Aaron Tru. "I don't know when or where but I promise the fight is going to happen pretty soon, within the next few months. I'll be back, better than ever. I've always said I'm asking for a chance for my fans and my friends. I'll be back and I'll do sensational, I promise."

I've always liked Parisyan, and I think he's still got enough fans that a smaller promotion could get some positive attention by giving Parisyan that chance he's asking for.

On the other hand, Parisyan hasn't fought in a year, and with a no contest and a loss in his last two bouts, he hasn't had a win since 2007. He has a lot of work to do, both in and out of the cage, to prove himself worthy of a contract from any MMA promotion.
