Kurt Pellegrino vs. Fabricio Camoes on Tap for UFC 111

Kurt Pellegrino (14-4) will return to the Octagon at UFC 111 against rising star Fabricio Camoes (10-4-1), MMA Fighting has learned. Bout agreements have yet to be officially signed for the fight, but both fighters have agreed to it.

UFC 111, which will be headlined by Georges St-Pierre vs. Dan Hardy for the welterweight title, will take place on March 27 from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Pellegrino was scheduled to face Frankie Edgar at The Ultimate Fighter Finale last month, but was forced to pull out after injuring his back. The New Jersey-native most recently defeated Josh Neer at UFC 101 and is currently riding a three-fight winning streak.

Nicknamed "Morango," which means strawberry in Portuguese, Camoes fought to a majority draw against Caol Uno in his Octagon debut at UFC 106 in November. The Royler Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt is unbeaten in his last eight fights and has fought for both Strikeforce and EliteXC in the past.

Shane Carwin vs. Frank Mir for the interim heavyweight title has also been officially announced for the card.
